Next Year starts tomorrow, bank on it, (or at the very latest right after the All Star game, this year).

I agree with KW2. Tribe isn't really serious yet. This season has been an unexpected surprise, and Tribe management will try to do whatever they can with current personnel. They are going to try and improve the team with Howry and Wickman. Hitting wise, I'm with you, Alex. I like the current slapshot type of hitters. And the Tribe is right up there in runs scored.

Tadano did really well last night. Very impressive. Howry, too. About Japanese pitchers, though: They seem to have an unusual pitching motion (kind of reminds me of Jack Morris, maybe). I'm thinking about many of the Japanese pitchers, and they seem to lose some effectiveness when ML players get used to them. But maybe Tadano has a real bag of tricks that will allow him to do well.

I'm pretty concerned about Wickman. I think they are rushing him back. He had one really bad game at Buffalo. How can he be ready? I don't see Tribe trading any prospects for say a Guardado. Management is afraid to pull the string on big trades.
